Evaluating Impact: Arts Explorers, Southbank Centre

Arts Explorers is Southbank Centre’s three-year Creative Learning project working with six Lambeth primary schools with limited or no arts provision, following one class of children in each school from year 4 to year 6. Having launched in January 2019, the programme aims to build and develop school-wide creative learning, working in partnership with teachers, pupils, senior school leaders and families to explore cultural opportunities and build skills and confidence in the arts. As Evaluator, I’ve been tasked with writing annual interim reports, and considering the success of the project in terms of cultural participation, skills development and access.
